About Sbarvo
Sbarvo is built and run by Ellul Solutions Ltd, a software company registered in England and Wales. It is one small product with one job: the report sheet a nurse carries through a shift and reads out at handover, and keeping the ones she has filled in. The free sheet and the paid plan are made by the same people, and the free sheet is not a trial.
Why this site exists
Because the handover is the moment care is most likely to be dropped, and on a great many floors it still runs on a photocopied sheet somebody laid out years ago. The sheet is not the problem; the fact that nobody ever works out whether tonight's assignment fits in tonight's shift is. Sbarvo exists so a nurse can put her own numbers into her own sheet before the shift rather than after it, and so the sheet she filled in is still there next time instead of in a bin.
Who it is for
It is for the nurse who takes report at the start of a shift and gives it back at the end, on a med-surg, telemetry, step-down, ICU or emergency floor, or in long-term and home care; and for the charge nurse or care-home manager who has to decide whether an assignment is workable before the shift starts.
It is not for a nursing student revising, a patient, or a hospital procuring an electronic record. Each of those is a different job and other things are written for it.
What it does not do
- It publishes no clinical guidance, no drug information and no care standard, and it will not send a handover about a patient to another clinician. What you decide about the people in your care is yours and your employer's; this is the paper it gets written on.
- It is not a medical record and never becomes one. What you save here is your own working sheet, not a chart, and it is never offered as a substitute for your employer's documentation.
- It ranks no vendors and sells no advertising. There is one thing to buy here and we make it.
