- Nursing report sheet, on the worked example
- 221
There is one sheet here and it is the one you carry. It takes your assignment size, your med passes, your assessments, the minutes you spend charting and handing over, the admissions you are expecting and the share of the shift that goes to interruptions, and it returns the minutes left over, the minutes each patient needs, how much of the shift you spend documenting and how many rows the sheet has to have tonight. It is free to use and free to print, and nothing you type leaves the page unless you save it.
Nothing in the sheet is a published average. Every figure it works with is one you time on your own floor, which is the point: a national number for how long a med pass takes cannot tell you whether tonight's assignment fits in tonight's shift.
